Terms of Use

The rules for using the Security Consultants Client Portal.

Effective 21 August 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Security Consultants Client Portal at portal.security-consultant.com (the “Portal”), provided by Security Consultants OÜ, a company registered in Estonia at Tiskrevälja tn 59-12, Tallinn, 13516, Estonia (“Security Consultants”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Portal.

1. Who may use the Portal

The Portal is provided exclusively to individuals authorised by an organisation with an active consulting engagement with Security Consultants OÜ (a “Client Organisation”). Access is provisioned individually, either by invitation from a Security Consultants administrator or, where enabled, on the basis of a verified email address at a domain your Client Organisation has approved. You may not use the Portal if you are not currently authorised by your Client Organisation to do so, including after your engagement, role, or employment ends.

2. Your account and sign-in

Sign-in links and sessions are personal to you and must not be shared, forwarded, or used by anyone else. You are responsible for keeping your work email account and any device used to access the Portal secure, since — where sign-in is by email link — the security of your Portal account depends on the security of that mailbox. Notify us promptly at corp@security-consultant.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Portal only to review your Client Organisation's own security program information, and not to:

  • attempt to access, or attempt to determine the existence of, data belonging to any organisation other than your own;
  • probe, scan, or test the Portal's access controls, or otherwise attempt to circumvent authentication or authorisation mechanisms;
  • use automated tools to scrape, extract, or bulk-export Portal content beyond ordinary interactive use;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Portal;
  • use the Portal in a way that interferes with its availability or integrity for other users; or
  • upload or introduce malicious code.

4. Nature of the information in the Portal

The Portal gives you a convenient, read-only view of security program information your Security Consultants engagement team maintains on your Client Organisation's behalf — including certification status, vulnerability scan summaries, compliance test results, and security awareness metrics. This information may lag behind the underlying source data, and the Portal will indicate when a view is showing previously validated data rather than a live result. The Portal is an operational convenience and does not replace, and is not a substitute for, the formal reports, audit findings, or other deliverables your engagement team provides under your Client Organisation's services agreement. Where the Portal and a formal deliverable differ, the formal deliverable controls.

5. Confidentiality

Information made available to you through the Portal is confidential to your Client Organisation. You agree to access it only as needed to perform your role, and not to disclose it outside your Client Organisation except as your role requires or as your Client Organisation otherwise authorises.

6. Intellectual property

The Portal, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Security Consultants OÜ or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, branding, or trademarks. The security program data displayed in the Portal remains the property of your Client Organisation and/or Security Consultants OÜ as set out in your Client Organisation's services agreement with us.

7. Relationship to your organisation's services agreement

Your use of the Portal is governed by these Terms in addition to, and not in place of, the Master Service Agreement, Statement of Work, or equivalent services agreement between Security Consultants OÜ and your Client Organisation (the “Services Agreement”). If these Terms conflict with the Services Agreement on a matter relating to the underlying engagement, the Services Agreement controls; these Terms otherwise govern your individual use of the Portal tool itself.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Portal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend access for maintenance, security reasons, or to make improvements, and may modify or discontinue features of the Portal at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Portal is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Security Consultants OÜ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Portal. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Portal is limited as set out in the Services Agreement between Security Consultants OÜ and your Client Organisation.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Portal at any time, including where your engagement with your Client Organisation or your Client Organisation's engagement with Security Consultants OÜ ends, where we reasonably believe your account has been compromised, or where you breach these Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, consistent with the Terms of Use of our corporate website. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection law that may apply in your jurisdiction, nor does it override a different governing-law clause agreed in your Client Organisation's Services Agreement for disputes relating to the underlying engagement.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated to active Portal users where feasible. Continued use of the Portal after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
